RCB Victory Parade Cancelled – Meet Kohli & Team Today at Chinnaswamy

The Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) made history by winning their first-ever IPL title in 2025. However, the celebration plans took a hit after the Bengaluru city police cancelled the much-awaited RCB victory parade due to severe traffic congestion and logistical concerns in the Central Business District (CBD).

Why Was the Parade Cancelled?

According to city authorities, conducting an open-top bus parade would have caused significant disruption to traffic and daily life in the already congested streets of Bengaluru. Hence, the city police advised against it.

Fans Can Still Celebrate with the Team

Though the parade is cancelled, fans still have a golden opportunity to meet the champions. A felicitation ceremony is being held at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium today, June 4, 2025, from 5 PM to 6 PM IST. Players like Virat Kohli, Faf du Plessis, Glenn Maxwell, AB de Villiers, and Chris Gayle will be present.

Important Guidelines for Attendees:

  • Entry is allowed only for ticket/pass holders.
  • Heavy traffic expected in CBD from 3 PM to 8 PM.
  • Use public transport as parking is limited.
Can’t Attend? Watch It Live!

If you can’t make it to the stadium, don't worry. The event will be broadcast live on Star Sports and streamed on JioCinema and RCB’s official social media handles.
